Sangha Potluck and Annual Meeting

This year's Shao Shan Temple Sangha Potluck and Annual Meeting was held on 

Sunday, September 24th at the Maple Corner's Community Center.

The time included an informative meeting, enjoyable social time and delicious snacks!

Peace Day & Autumn Equinox

On September 22nd, Shao Shan Temple had a 2-part ceremony to commemorate International Peace Day and the Autumn Equinox.  An intimate group gathered for chanting at the peace pole garden and to participate in the Ryakufusatsu - an ancient purification ceremony that we perform at Shao Shan Temple on solstices and equinoxes.

17th Anniversary Celebration

 On Sunday September 10th, Shao Shan Temple celebrated it's 17th Anniversary.  An enthusiastic group gathered on this perfect weather day to join in rededicating to our highest aspiration.
