Rev. Taishun Yoshii Visits Shao Shao, Sept.23, 2014

Shao Shan Temple was honored to host the international delegate from Soto Zen Order,  Rev. Taishun Yoshii on Tuesday evening, September 23^rd at 7:30pm.  

The temple was standing-room only for Rev. Taishun Yoshi's thoughtful dharma talk on the topic of Generosity.  Rev. Taishun Yoshi was accompanied by Rev. Daigaku Rumme,  Bishop of Soto Zen North America, and his assistant.

Gratitude to Rev. Yoshi and Rev. Rumme for the great honor of their visit to Shao Shan and to all who came out to offer a warm reception from the Shao Shan community.

Shao Shan's 14th Anniversary Celebration 9-14-14

Drumming, laughter and intention rang in the crisp air on Sunday as Shao Shan Temple celebrated it's 14th anniversary with old and new friends. 

Thanks to the many people who contributed in so many ways and to all who made it a most memorable and happy celebration of practice and community.

Shao Shan's First All Day Family Program

September 6th was Shao Shan Temple's first All-Day Family Program.  Thanks to all who participated in creating this joyous dynamic event.
